1. General Information
This version of the General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) is kept in printed form at the headquarters of KGVM 500 Consulting and Service Ltd. (hereinafter: Service Provider), signed by the current managing director. The GTC is available exclusively in Hungarian on etiquette.hu and its subdomains, and applies solely to commercial transactions formed thereby. 5. Scope of Service
The scope includes webstore operation, user registration, order status tracking, discounts, coupons, pricing, product information, promotions, and customer feedback mechanisms.
6. Access and UseBy entering or reading the website content, users accept these GTC. If refused, access is denied.
7. Registration and PurchaseRegistration or purchase implies acknowledgment and acceptance of these GTC and the Data Privacy Policy.
Accurate data must be provided; false or third-party information renders the contract invalid.
Purchasers include individuals, companies, sole proprietors, educational institutions, foundations, and NGOs. VAT numbers must be declared if applicable.
Registration can be terminated at any time via email.
8. Products and PricingProducts are exclusively available online, with prices including VAT and delivery to home or parcel point.
Promotional or erroneous prices may be corrected; obvious errors make the order invalid, and the buyer can cancel.
Prices may significantly differ from actual values; contracts are valid only upon mutual agreement.
9. Ordering Process
Users log in or browse freely, add items to their cart, and modify quantities.
In checkout, users provide shipping and billing details, apply coupons, and select payment/delivery methods.
Available payment methods include only online bank cards.
Delivery within Hungary costs 1873.- HUF ;
Processing occurs within 1-3 working days if items are in stock.
Damaged products must be reported immediately upon receipt with a formal report; packages may be refused if damaged.
10. Payment and Delivery
- The total payable amount includes all costs;
- standard delivery costs 1873.-HUF domestically.
- Delivery hours: 8:00-17:00 weekdays.
- Orders are confirmed via email;
- if confirmation is not received within 48 hours, the contractual obligation may lapse.
- Orders may be modified before final submission;
- errors can be corrected beforehand.
- Payment is due upon order confirmation.
11. Right of Withdrawal (Cancellation)
- Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of receipt without reason by notifying the Service Provider.
- The withdrawal period begins from the date of delivery or contract conclusion.
- Consumers bear the costs of returning products.
- Certain products (e.g., custom-made, sealed health/hygiene items, digital content, newspapers, perishable goods) are exempt.
- Upon withdrawal, the Service Provider refunds the amount paid—including delivery costs—within 14 days.
- Returned products must be sent promptly; the refund process may be withheld until receipt.
- Withdrawal notices must be submitted in writing within 14 days, via email, postal mail, or in person.
- The consumer must return the goods without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice.
- The consumer bears only the direct costs of returning the goods, except if the provider has agreed to bear those costs or failed to notify the consumer about them.
- The provider may withhold a refund until the goods are received or proof of return is provided.
- The refund is made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless the consumer agrees otherwise, at no additional cost.
- The consumer must return the goods in their original condition, unless damage occurred through reasonable use for testing and inspection purposes.
12. Defective Goods and Warranty
12.1. Responsibility for Defective Performance
The Service Provider is responsible for performance defects if products or services do not meet contractual or legal standards at the time of delivery.
12.2. Consumer Rights for Defects
The consumer may choose between repair or replacement, unless these are impossible or disproportionately expensive.If repair or replacement is infeasible, the consumer can request a proportional reduction of the price or fix the defect themselves or through a third party at the provider's expense.The consumer must report the defect promptly after discovering it, within two months of detection, and within two years from the delivery date.
12.3. Responsible Party
Claims for performance defects can only be directed at the manufacturer or distributor responsible for the product.
12.4. Exemptions for Manufacturers/Distributors
They are exempt if they prove that:The product was not produced or marketed in the course of their business,The defect was not present at the time of delivery or was not detectable then,The defect resulted from legal or regulatory requirements after the product was placed on the market.
12.5. Multiple Claim Types
The consumer cannot simultaneously enforce warranty (jótállás) and guarantee (szavatosság) claims for the same defect.
13. Product Warranty (Termékszavatosság)
For tangible goods with a defect, the consumer may invoke either warranty or guarantee rights.The rights include the repair or replacement of the defective product.A product is defective if it does not meet the quality standards or properties specified by the manufacturer. The claim must be made within two years from the date the product was made available for sale. The manufacturer or distributor is liable unless they prove the defect did not exist at the time of sale or was caused by improper handling.
14. Guarantee (Jótállás)
The Service Provider provides a one-year guarantee for durable consumer goods if the consumer qualifies as a consumer under applicable laws.The guarantee period begins upon delivery or installation.The consumer may request a repair or replacement; if these are impossible or disproportionate, they may request a proportional reduction in price or withdraw from the contract.Minor faults caused by normal aging or use are excluded.The Service Provider is not responsible for damages caused by mishandling, misuse, or unauthorized modifications.If a product is reported as faulty within three working days, it must be replaced, provided the fault impairs normal use.
15. Limitations of Liability for Warranty and Guarantee
The Service Provider is not liable for defects caused after delivery, such as mishandling or external damages.The provider does not cover damages resulting from aging, natural wear, or external factors beyond their control.Damage caused by improper handling, excessive use, or alterations is also excluded.
16. Warranty and Guarantee Claims Procedure
The consumer must prove the purchase (e.g., invoice or receipt).The Service Provider must respond within five working days after claim notification.The provider must repair or replace the product within fifteen days afterwards.Records of warranty or guarantee claims are to be kept for three years and produced upon official request.
17. Miscellaneous and Complaint Handling
The Service Provider may involve contractors or agents to fulfill obligations, and is responsible for their conduct.Invalid or unenforceable parts do not affect the remaining provisions.Hungarian law governs all relations, regardless of the user's location or nationality.Complaints should be submitted via the listed customer support channels.The Service Provider will examine complaints promptly, with a response issued within 30 days.In case of disputes, authorities such as consumer protection agencies or arbitration bodies can be contacted.
18. Dispute Resolution and Consumer Rights
Disputes may be resolved.
Disputes arising from online purchase or online service contracts outside the territorial jurisdiction of Hungary should be settled through conciliation with the Budapest Metropolitan Arbitration Board or the relevant consumer protection authority.
The Service Provider cooperates in dispute resolution proceedings, providing responses and participating in negotiations.
If informal resolution fails, consumers have the right to initiate legal proceedings by submitting a lawsuit, including all relevant documentation (e.g., purchase invoice, communication records).
19. Applicable Law
For any issues not explicitly regulated herein, Hungarian law applies, especially the Civil Code (Act V of 2013), Act CVIII/2001 on electronic commerce and information society services, and Government Decree 45/2014 on detailed rules for consumer contracts.
The contract language is Hungarian.
20. Entry into Force and Amendments
These Terms and Conditions are effective from

21. Final Provisions
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
The place of jurisdiction for consumer disputes is Budapest, Hungary.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the user and the Service Provider concerning online transactions at etiquette.hu.
